The Dickson SLF Premium Range is manufactured by Saint Clair Textiles, a member of the Dickson Group. These high-performance architectural membranes are engineered for demanding outdoor structures where durability, dimensional stability, flame safety, and long-term surface protection are important.

Each membrane is built with an 1100 dTex high-tenacity polyester support cloth, PVC Lowick coating technology, and a PVDF finish on both sides. This combination helps protect the fabric from moisture penetration, mold formation, dirt buildup, pollution, and weather-related wear while maintaining a clean architectural appearance.

Key Features

LOWICK Anti-Wicking Technology

The Lowick system helps seal the internal polyester yarns against moisture penetration, reducing the risk of mold, delamination, and dark stains caused by inner wicking.

Dual-Side PVDF Protection

Both sides are finished with a Cleangard PVDF lacquer coating, helping the surface resist soot, dust, organic debris, and pollution while making cleaning easier.

Strong Structural Performance

Designed for large-span and high-tension structures, with strong tensile capacity, tear resistance, and low residual deformation under load.

Weldable on Both Sides

The SLF range can be welded directly on both sides using high-frequency or hot-air welding without prior mechanical grinding or chemical stripping of the lacquer.

Fire & Safety Compliance

The range includes certified flame-retardant performance including M2, B1, BS 7837, EN 13501-1 B-s2-d0, and NFPA 701 certified pass.

Fire & Solar Performance

The membrane range is rated M2, B1, BS 7837, EN 13501-1 B-s2-d0, and NFPA 701 compliant/certified pass. For the opaque white option, solar reflection is listed at 78%, solar absorption at 8%, and translucency at approximately 12%, while the blackout variant has 0% translucency.

Fabrication & Handling Notes

The SLF range is suitable for hot-air and high-frequency welding. To protect the PVDF surface, avoid dragging the membrane over rough ground or steel cables during installation. Use ground canvases or smooth tarpaulins during handling, hoisting, and deployment.
